Tommy Brennan

Tommy Brennan is a New York–based stand-up comedian who got his start in Chicago and has quickly emerged as one of comedy’s rising voices. He recently joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for Season 51, marking a major milestone in a career built on sharp writing, strong stage presence, and a distinct comedic point of view. In 2023, Tommy was named one of Just For Laughs New Faces at the festival’s premiere event in Montreal. His stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central and Don’t Tell Comedy, and he is a regular performer at the Comedy Cellar in New York City while touring clubs and theaters across the country. During his time working with the late Louie Anderson, Anderson famously described Tommy’s set as “Alriiiiiiight”—a compliment Tommy still proudly references (despite insisting it’s been anything but smooth sailing since). Beyond stand-up, Tommy is also known for the popular web series Roommates-In-Law, which he co-created with fellow comedian Tim Smith. The series has amassed millions of views online and highlights his ability to blend character-driven comedy with relatable, everyday humor.
